I lead workshops to introduce these three aspects of Japanese culture.
Among young French people, Japanese culture has great appeal. For those who want to know Japan, I introduce Japanese culture through traditional culture such as calligraphy and origami.
During the calligraphy workshop, the art of well forming handwritten characters, even if it’s the first time you have a brush, you can use rice paper to write your name in katakana or write a simple kanji. This workshop is intended for more than 8 y.o.
In Origami’s workshop, the art of paper folding, depending on age and level, we use colorful paper to make folds.
I also lead a Kirigami workshop, the art of paper cutting, where traditional Japanese patterns are cut with colored paper.
